Responsibilities:
* Primary person responsible for the planning, administration and maintenance of the company’s database.
* Mapping out the ‘conceptual design’ for a planned database in outline
* Refining the ‘logical design’ so that it can be translated into a specific data model
* Writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (’metadata’)
* Controlling of Database access permissions and privileges
* Ensuring that Database storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly
* Communicating regularly with Engineering, Programmers, and Operations personnel, to ensure the database integrity and security
* Responsible for development and testing Stored procedure supporting the Company’s custom developed applications and the Company Data Warehouse
* Primary person in-charge of generating pins for commercial and promotional use.
* Provisioning of database driven request for other Business Units and Departments.
* In-charge on database performance monitoring and tuning.
* Create and develop databases for management reporting system.
Requirements:
* Candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent.
* At least 5 years Database Administration work experience.
* Working experience with MMOG Billing Systems such BillCrux and BilloneQ
* Extensive knowledge in MS SQL 2000, 2005 / MY SQL design, administration, development and programming
* Proficient programming skills in Transact-Structured Query Language (SQL) and development of stored procedure, implementing DTS, OLAP, database backup and restoration.
* Has the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment
