Network Administrator

* 1. Knowledgeable in TCP/IP and LAN/WAN protocol theories and standards.
* 2. Adequate knowledge and skills in the Internet (IP) environment - large scale enterprise or ISP, such as:
* -Implementation and operations of the typical network devices: (Cisco) routers, switches, -security devices (firewall, IDS/IPS), etc.
* -Implementation and operations of typical network servers: (Unix or Windows) AAA, TFTP, SMTP,DNS,NMS, etc.
* -Implementation/operations of various network architecture and technologies: enterprise IP network core, distribution, access (WAN and LAN/MAN), ATM, Frame Relay, Metro DWDM, Data Centers LAN and SAN (storage area network).
* 3. Appreciable knowledge/experience on the following NMS/performance management technologies/tools/platforms, such as:
* -MRTG/SNPMC
* -AAA (RADIUS/TACACS+)
* -NMS (HP Openview, CiscoWorks)
* -Performance Management Systems (InfoVista, BMC Patrol, etc.)
* 4. Appreciable knowledge/experience on the following Network Applications and Services, such:
* -Email, Web/Portal
* -GSM-GPRS/WAP, SMS, 3G
* -VoIP, IP Multicast/Video Streaming
* 5. Experience/skills in technical document writing and reporting (projects and operational processes)
* 6. Network IP addressing – sub-netting and management
* 7. Advanced routing configurations (i.e., EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP and MPLS)

* Provide technical support to various/client organizations regarding specific operational/application issues
* Troubleshoot hardware, network, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational problems
* Maintain a broad knowledge of state of the art computer technology, equipment, and systems by participating in professional development activities as appropriate.
* Instruct and oversee the activities of technical support engineers
* Ensure customer satisfaction
* Ensure knowledge is transferred to other team members
* Ensure compliance to standard methodologies and processes
* Facilitate development of re-use of opportunities
* Facilitate the sharing of best practices and lessons learned
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
* Required skill(s): TCP/IP, LAN/WAN.
* At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* At least 1 year relevant information on Network Administration
* Knowledge in either Cisco Pix, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco switches & routers, packet shaper, windows and Linux IP, Telephony
* Applicants must be willing to work in Quezon City.
* Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
* Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
