IT SECURITY ENGINGEER

Responsibilities:
Accountable for defining and designing security standards
Focus on both infrastructure and application / product areas; will work closely to comlete full life cycle from scoping, to definition, to development and implementation of security capabilities
Design security solutions that will complement client requirements and have an exceptional ability in areas including firewalls, antivirus or identity management
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree or Post Graduate Diploma / Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in IT/Computer - Hardware or equivalent.
High knowledge on information security principles and practices
Must have relevant experience including the following CISCO, IOS, CNNA/CCNI/CCIE or equivalent experience, Microsoft Windows, Unix/Linux,Intrusion Detection Systems, Common network vulnerability assessment tools, Anti-Virus, Anti-SPAM systems and Proxy Firewalls
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
MCSE, CISSP, CISA or SANS GIAC certifications strongly preferred
High ability to understand business asset protection requirements and deliver cost-effective technical solutions
Thorough knowledge and technical experience of computer security principles, standards and technologies at the network, operating systems and application layers
Willing to be assigned in Makati City
