IT Technical Support Service Desk (URGENT)
(National Capital Reg - Makati City)
Responsibilities:
* Man the 24/7 Operations Desk and provides regular status updates on service problems
* Maintain, develop and follow monitoring procedures ensuring consistent practices
* Directly operate and monitor wireless applications and services (SMS/MMS/WAP)
* Coordinates with the technical support of Telco operator on operational concerns
* Escalate operational problems to appropriate departments
* Provide timely and effective follow-up/feedback to customers for all problems, issues and requests.
* Provide ad-hoc technical support to customers
* Manage and maintain monitoring application utilities
* Provide assistance to some basic functions of System Administrator such as server OS installation, data backup and restoration, module updates, server network troubleshooting, etc.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent.
* At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Has experience or knowledge in the following areas: Linux system and Network administration; Relational databases and SQL-based database servers
* Self-motivated, tenacious and eager to learn
* Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
* Fresh graduates with strong potentials are encouraged to apply
* Willing to work night and rotating shifts
* 3 Full-Time positions available.
* Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
