Software Engineer
(Central Visayas - Cebu)
Responsibilities:
The qualified candidate has strong OO design and implementation experience and a strong knowledge of web protocols. Experience with web-based applications and/or web services-based applications will be very applicable and helpful.
Some responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Deliver software applications
• Support development of application-oriented software
• Apply best engineering practices to software
• Develop functional requirements and detail design specifications
• Software development and software Testing
Requirements:
• Programming in C, C++ and/or Java
• Experience building scalable infrastructure software or distributed systems.
• Internet and operating system security fundamentals
• Experience in network routing protocols
• Background with scalable storage solutions is a plus
• Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills.
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment.
• Good knowledge of browser architectures, HTTP, web security.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills in C++, C#, or Java.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of delivery.
• Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, MSSQL a plus
