* Responsible for ensuring that the quality of the software meets the expectations of the users.
* Develop strategic test cases and test plans based on the functional specifications carried out on the Development Team.
* Study and review existing projects that may require revision of test cases.
* Formulate and suggest plans on testing. Perform different types of testing that are necessary on every stage of development.
* Work side by side with the Head QA/ Head Test Engineer to execute tests and create metrics of results.
* Consume the module or area given for testing. Making sure that the assigned area is error free and meets standard.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Candidate must possess at least a Associate Diploma or Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology.
* Must be computer literate.
* Must have an imaginative, creative mind on testing.
* Has the ability to adjust quickly and learn new assignments fast.
* Must have good oral and written English communication skills.
* Must be proficient in using MS Office applications. Knowledge on MS Visio is a plus.
* Must be able to work on tight deadline.
* Must have knowledge on System Development Life Cycle.
* Experience or exposure to Software development environment is a plus.
* Knowledge on Business Applications and on Accounting is a plus.
* Knowledge on testing automation is a plus.
* Willing to work on either night or day shift.
* Fresh graduates are welcome to apply as long as highly motivated and fast learner with minimum supervision.
