Support Engineer (Websphere Administration)

Responsibilities:
The Support Engineer provides in-depth application and technical support for Lawson products and designated 3rd party products via online support tools and telephone. Support includes functional analysis, program analysis, testing, and debugging to resolve customer problems. The Support Engineer is responsible for providing quality resolutions to complex customer issues that are passed from Regional Support or Product Support teams while ensuring that all service level agreements and customer satisfaction goals are achieved, as defined in the Support Operations Handbook.
Requirements:
*Previous work experience in an ERP or manufacturing environment, or supporting/implementing ERP applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle Mfg., JD Edwards, Baan, Glovia, ERIC, Great Plains, etc.)
*Experienced in Websphere administration (WAS, WAS MQ, WAS ESB)
*System administration skills: Unix, iSeries, or, Windows
*Two years programming experience RPG, Cobol, or Java or equivalent class work
*Four-year degree in related field or equivalent business/technical experience
*Two years experience in related industry or software/technical support
*Plus factors:
- RDBMS administration skills (Oracle, MSSQL, DB2)
- LDAP knowledge (Tivoli Directory Server, Active Directory)
- Data Warehouse
*Proven analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
*Ability to multi-task many business critical issues
*Ability to speak fluent English
*3 Full time position available
*Required language(s): English.
*Willing to work in rotating shift
