Responsibilities:
* Provides Clients with development, integration, deployment, optimization and implementation consultancy for Misys software solutions to meet the Client’s design requirements, through the following services:
* Custom Development – to develop non-core product enhancements for ClientsInterface Development – to develop third party product interfaces and integrations for Clients
* Technology Implementation – to install, configure and deploy Misys products and System software products
* Unit/System/Regression Testing – to test the implemented Misys products and System software products
* Deployment Support – to assist third parties in the deployment of Misys products and solutions
* Software Installation/Upgrade – to install and upgrade Misys products and System software products in a controlled, managed, safe and efficient manner
* Performance Optimisation – performance monitoring, measurement and capacity planning of Misys solutions, recommending and making changes to Misys products and System software configurations
* Third Party Implementations – to install, configure and deploy third party products
* Assists Service Delivery Managers and Project Managers to eliminate risks and increase the likelihood of project success through the provision of information, advice, guidance and updates throughout the project lifecycle
* Undertakes on-site 1st Level Problem Diagnosis and 2nd Level Problem Replication of Misys Product issues encountered during the project implementation lifecycle, and effectively works with Misys Customer Support and Development to manage to a satisfactory resolution
* Constructs, facilitates and delivers Client Workshops and Training courses as needed
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in any Information Technology or Business course
* Minimum of two (2) years’ solid experience of financial products software technical consulting or support
* Good understanding of banking application implementation cycle, development and customisation requirements
* Good overall technical knowledge, especially in the following areas:
* Microsoft .Net technology
* Good understanding of MS SQL Server/Sybase/Oracle relational database management system
* Microsoft operating systems
* Good understanding of banking application support model
* Good understanding of Treasury Banking and / or Financial Environments is an advantage
* Able and willing to travel
* Able to create and deliver Client presentations
* Able to construct, facilitate and deliver Client Workshops and able to deliver Misys Client Training courses in a highly professional manner and to a high level of quality
* Excellent understanding and practical expertise in Misys products in order to provide Clients with advice, guidance, design and implementation consultancy for Misys core applications and asset class modules, though (1) Impact Assessment, (2) Education Assessment, (3) Technical Analysis & Design, (4) Application Configuration, and (5) Data Conversion & Transformation
