Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for providing level 2 support for desktop, telephone sets, printers, operating system, and office software (MS Office, e-mail, etc.) to all internal users;
* Responsible for creating and updating Desktop application related;
* Properly escalate and coordinate reported incidents by following the escalation procedures defined for each campaign;
* Responsible for promptly logging and tagging all customer complaints in the Service Desk ticketing system and ascertain speedy resolution;
* Coordinate with other IT internal groups; Systems,Network, IT Helpdesk, and IT Security groups to ensure that service level agreements with the internal and external customers are met.
* All issues are logged, tagged, tracked, and resolved to the satisfaction of the client (internal/external);
* Document and track changes in any installation, movement, and repair of desktops, printers, telephone sets, headsets, etc.
* Document and track changes in the logistics supply of IT equipment such as spare desktops, laptops, telephone sets, headsets, printers, harddisk, etc.
* Provide summary reports of all logged and tagged calls and tickets per shift;
* Adhere to service levels agreement.

* Position Objective

* Considered the SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) for all IT related inquiries and items and providing service delivery that meets and exceeds customer (both internal and external) metrics and Service levels. This position has overall responsibility for managing a shift in a 24×7 operations.

* Skill Requirement

* Exposure to the IT Services industry is desired but not essential;
* In the absence of an exposure to IT industry the candidate must have a strong ‘Call Center Operations Support’ experience;
* Experience in working on a 24×7 support operations an added advantage;
* Must have excellent English communication;
* Should have had the experience of working in teams;
* Extensive understanding of technical aspects of one or more of the following areas: a)LAN, b)WAN, c)Systems, d)Telecom e) Desktop Application.

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
* At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering - Electronics/Communication or equivalent.
* Full-Time positions available.
