Responsibilities:
* Working Days are daily Monday to Friday
* Hours are 12pm to 9pm, with 45 minute dinner break
* Develop creative content in form of photo editing (Photoshop), graphic
* design (Illustrator or Quark), Flash animation, video editing, sound, and
* other media.
* Develop concepts as part of a team effort with marketing, sales, and
* management
* Modify website with content to have reliable, fast, and exciting content on
* website and in other marketing promotion materials
* Create graphic design content for marketing brochures and other messages
* Program and develop e-commerce website
* Manage e-commerce website and all content as needed
* As a small company, there are times you will be asked to work on non-programming assignments related to Distant Village. These can be a wide variety of tasks, but all will be related to Distant Village’s business.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
* Required skill(s): VB .Net, Web Development, Flash.
* Preferred skill(s): Photoshop, Quark, Illustrator.
* Required language(s): Filipino, English
* At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
* Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
* Full-Time positions available.
* Advanced skill and expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator or Quark, Flash, and
* Microsoft suite
* Animation, publishing, and video software experience is a plus
* Software development tools related to website programming
* Self-starter that takes initiative and works fast to meet deadlines is a must
* Excellent English: written and verbal communication skills
